The model/photographer or model/artist relationship is (or can be) a very complex one (or very simple -- stand there, point, shoot, click. Thank you.)
Working with goes both ways, so 4 directions.
It goes both ways.
Working with photographers has two aspects (or points of view)
Each person sees (or views) the relationship slightly differently. The photographer sees working with the model in one way. The model interprets the relationship in a slightly different one.
While this may seem obvious, it's something that is often forgotten.
So, while this is a forum for "Working with Photographers", it's *NOT* only for the models to chat in. Part of working with photographers, is understanding THEIR point of view, and coming to terms.
We have set up a "Working with Models" forum, which models are welcome to post in, to help photographers deal with things from your point of view.
So there are really 4 points of view that need to be addressed in these forums:
Working with models, from the photographer's point of view.
Working with models, from the model's point of view.
Working with photographers from the photographer's point of view
Working with photogrpahers from the model's point of view.
So, it's a pretty complex relationship after all!
