Mamiya joins Konica/Minolta and the others who have started the exodus out of digital imaging and photography all together.
Mamiya joins the exodus.
While some of this will leave new openings for new companies, and digital is a different "beast" than film, it makes one wonder if the technical advances are going to keep coming, as much of what was done in traditional photography was not with the "film" but with the mechanisms, and the OPTICS which is something *all* photography is dependent on.
If you want to photograph that golf ball on the lawn from 22,000 miles up, you need to have *great* optics :)
